On Sunday, June 26, contemporary artist Katie Southworth announced that she would be selling prints of her artwork and that all profits would be donated to Planned
Parenthood, a nonprofit organization that supports the reproductive healthcare needs of individuals. Within five days, all prints were sold out, raising over $1000 for donation.
“It feels great to be able to make a difference through my art thanks to the overwhelming support. After such a historically hurtful weekend for American women, I’m grateful to have contributed a little joy,” said Southworth.
