Artist Katie Southworth has released her new collection, “Unseen Light”. The collection, created during Southworth’s month-long residency in south Florida, pays homage to the
aspects of the natural world that often go unseen by the naked eye. Through the use of vibrant colors and inventive new styles, the artist makes the invisible, visible.
The new collection was exhibited at a one-night joint pop up show at Art Warehouse in Delray Beach, Florida alongside her partner and fellow artist, Joe Taveras. At the exhibition, six of Southworth’s fifteen piece series were sold to private collections. Photos of the collection in its entirety as well as the paintings that remain available from the Unseen Light collection can be viewed on Southworth’s website.
